Engineering/Technology leaders, what are you doing to reduce or eliminate your FX cloud costs?

  1. The declining economy has affected your product revenue.
  2. The FX rate is already biting hard and you only earn in Naira.
  3. Your platform runs on AWS, GCP, Azure, or any other foreign cloud provider.

If the above conditions apply to you, what have you done to reduce costs in the past few months (apart from the regular optimization, savings plans, reserved instances, etc.)?

I’ve also heard about local alternatives. Has anyone migrated to any of them and is willing to share their experience?
