Yup user adoption is key here, that trust barrier is just too high. But I seem to recall thats what was once said about making payments online in Nigeria with Debit / Credit cards. It just takes a sufficient amount of people to start using the service before it becomes acceptable.
You cant compare paying online to paying via a social media app, again this isnāt China where user adoption or paying via 3rd party apps is common, we still hvnāt gotten critical mass or adoption in our payment system so i donāt see them achieving any significant traction, remember a certain Pay with Capture? They can spend big bucks on Online marketing but Strategic Partnerships is where will sell them.
