Business Manager
Job Description:
We are now looking for an experienced and disciplined Business Manager. We need an expert PMM to build out our core messaging and value propositions to make sure our current partners are successful and our future partners understand the value that iKON can bring to their company, product and brand.

This is a leadership role with visibility across the company and it requires a blend of technical and marketing knowledge, business acumen, and people skills. This role will report to the company overall Project Manager and will be responsible for shaping the marketing of our new B2B platform. You’ll have the opportunity to develop our position, messaging, and content strategy. You’ll work directly with our
partners to ensure they are successful in selling their product. And, you’ll provide the critical link of customer to product feedback as we improve the functionality and services we offer to those customers.

About You:
You are an innovative and dynamic product marketer and technology thought leader. In addition, you have a proven record of influencing the behavior of organizations to achieve common strategic objectives. This position requires strong marketing and communications skills, as well as a technical understanding of enterprise and mobile platforms. You must be comfortable working closely with sales, creative department, sales engineering, and marketing, as well as with prospects, customers, and partners.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of application software/stacks. You consistently exhibit strong judgment and ability to think about high-level strategic priorities, but love rolling-up your sleeves and getting involved in the details.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular market, customer and competitive research to identify target markets, market opportunity, personas, and overall go-to-market strategy.
  • Craft compelling messaging that helps our customers understand our benefits and unique advantages and deliver it through various forms of content you deem effective at each stage of the funnel.
  • Drive the platform’s success by collaborating with product management, demand generation, and sales to execute integrated go-to-market strategies.
  • Act as a liaison to iKON’s Product Management, helping to represent our customer’s challenges and needs and work with product management in developing the roadmap.
  • Partner with the Demand Generation team to create an integrated, multi-touch marketing program and collaborate to produce compelling content such as e-mail and web marketing content, social engagement, webinars, and sales enablement collateral.
  • Act as a product evangelist for iKON at tradeshows, industry events, tech gathering, conferences and collaborate with the communications team in briefing industry analysts.
  • Work with Product Management and Marketing to support Analyst Relations

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3+ years of experience in product marketing or product management.
  • Demonstrated strengths in the following areas: go-to-market planning, persuasive writing, communications, lead generation, program/project management, and team-building.
  • Deep knowledge of the consumer electronics or eCommerce industry or including current dynamics, challenges, and a perspective on future trends.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching market-leading solution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable moving quickly with limited information in a “test, learn, adapt” culture.
  • Experience marketing & selling technical products to IT professionals is desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
