Best area in Yaba to look for residential apartments

Please folks, which area in Yaba is best to get a residential apartment for someone who wants to mind his business :innocent: bearing in mind the following:-

  1. Security
  2. Availability of portable water supply
  3. Good Eatery
  4. Proximity to a shopping mall/plaza

Yaba isn’t particularly residential.

You should look inwards Onike, off Sabo. Further in that direction, you’ll be pitting with students for accommodation. Onike has a lot of very restful residential clusters. Good for the money, but rarely vacant.

Alternatively, you can move a bit further towards Ikorodu road and explore till Idiroko. That whole stretch from Jibowu (Fadeyi, Onipanu, Palmgrove, Obanikoro, minus Anthony to Idiroko) has very nice living clusters inwards to the right, usually a trek from the main road and < 700 Naira taxi to Yaba (H. Macaulay).

There are gated estates inward Plamgrove, Obanikoro…Idiroko etc and a newly opened Shopping complex at Idiroko Bustop. More Suya and Sharwama spots than Eateries except you cut through to the other side to Charly Boy B/stop upto Gbagada, where you can find Dimonos Pizza, Biggs, and a number of fancy Bukas.
