We have designed an mobile app that is intended to help event organizers gather information about attendees without the use of paper registers. It is also intended to serve as a feedback / review engine which organizers can use to gather real-time market feedback about product, personnel or brand performance.
Please checkout out the key-in app on playstore. Visit key-in site to register and try out.
My take is actually very simple. When one is asking for feedback and in the same vein, mentions ‘trolls’, then you’re unconsciously telling people to waka pass . Certainly not everything, everyone will say will be helpful, constructive or even actionable but that’s for him to discount in his own time.
Since it’s a free world and most (I hope) Radarians are not trolls. It’s very likely that they will waka pass any application that attracts feedback from trolls.
Hey @blacquay maybe the site is not exactly needing feedback? I know you said it’s still in beta but can’t see much going on. Or I’m missing something? See screenshot attached.
In any case, my random thoughts on event planning app.
• Who are your targeted market? For instance, do you intend this to be use for business purposes (eg training organised by bank for it’s staff and they need feedback) or private functions (eg for a family throwing a 70th birthday party)
• You’ve in this case said your targeting brands, products, personnel. Which means you intend that this is for business purposes.
• Then you need to gather use cases of how your app solves the problem and include them in your website (which doesn’t have a ‘features’ section or any meaningful description of what you’re solving).
• Personally don’t think loads of business care too much about this feedback if I’m completely honest. So just thinking about if your app replaces the pen-and-paper method they previously used to gather feedback, then what? I think you really need to address this point in your pitch, marketing materials, website etc.
The website needs a lot more content on the home page, about us page and FAQ page. It’s difficult to get a sense of what the site is about or the value prop for event organizers.
Also, more screenshots on the website would actually be helpful.
