GCE is better based on experience.
AWS offers a free tier and its valid for one year this gives you room to play around with it a bit before committing should you wish to.
One thing that makes AWS a stand out “for me” is the in built free DDOS protection (shield) though there is the advanced version of it, in addition to WAF features among others.

I’m wondering why you needed to ask based on location (Nigeria). Is there a question about international payments there?
PS: AWS has been phenomenal in my opinion, been using them for a couple of years now.

Really, how so, is it as scalable as the EC2 - Compute Service from AWS… did you have a less positive experience with AWS… please share
