Any Nigerian bulk SMS platform where you can get delivery report via API?

Does anyone know of any reliable bulk SMS provider in Nigeria who offers sending SMS via API but more importantly retrieving the delivery report via API?

At the moment, Airsob which we are currently using for SMS does not support sending bulk SMS and we’re not looking to build this feature into it if someone is already offering this service.

I know of Jusibe and they are quite reliable but you can only submit one message at a time and that’s not very convenient when you are planning to send out thousands of messages at a time.

Any others?

Try Infobip

We can push DLR to you on www.kudisms.net. Send a mail to support@kudisms.net

I couldn’t find pricing information anywhere, @Victorybiz .

Click on Get Started and submit a request, an account manager will be assigned to you to setup your account and bargain on the pricing based on the quantity you wish to send monthly.
The screenshot shows the pricing applied to my account as at July, 2016 (might not be the current pricing)…

@ukay

Hey @Light Africa’s Talking might be your answer. Check out documentation on the SMS API as well the delivery report functionality. This will work when sending out to most African countries as well.

If I have to do all this work just to get pricing information, I’m already scared.
Abi you want me to come and start crying on Radar 6 months later like Barter customers?

Well there is always www.ebulksms.com
I’m with the coding team here.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Just a few questions:

@Victorybiz does Infobip have a minimum monthly SMS requirement?

@mugure Isn’t Africa’s Talking primary focused on East African countries?

@ojochidem What do you mean by “We can push DLR to you”?

@doctorfox Does EbulkSMS have live delivery reports accessible via API?

@Light no it isn’t. That’s just where it started. It’s a unified experience- one time integration with the API regardless of the country.

ATv has had a Nigerian office for a year now just been working on connections with the telcos.

You should have no problem acquiring and using the service.

Support is also accessible should you have a problem or
query. Just walk into the office at 249, Herbert Macaulay way, Yaba

@mikedeace of Africa’s Talking, I think you are needed here.

@Light, you can get in touch with him. They have one of the most superb and easy to integrate APIs I’ve ever seen. He will confirm what @mugure said. They’ve been in Nigeria for some time now and it’s on their platform that I first enjoyed Paystack’s ‘pay with your account number’ feature for corporate accounts that usually do not have debit cards.

@Light No minimum monthly SMS requirement…

This means we offer Delivery reports via API.

Thanks @utee.

@Light, essentially what we do @ Africa’s Talking is to make the developer journey while working with Telco services as easy as possible.

As my colleague @mugure said, we’ve been in Nigeria for over a year now. You can have a look at http://docs.africastalking.com/sms/deliveryreports to see how we handle delivery reports.

Let’s talk some more- you can reach me on 07069371509 or send me a DM. We would love to help.

I am using bulk SMS .com’s bulk SMS services in Nigeria you can give it a try

Well, there are tons of sites, but if you are looking for a reliable one that is not in private beta and has plenty other functionalities like Birthday SMS, Repetitve SMS, then you should check www.mebosms.com. The beautiful thing with this platform is that you can pull reports via API and they are very reliable using technology that delivers from phone-to-phone and they will never charge for undelivered SMS due to network.

You may want to check out https://appwebSMS.com

The platform is very reliable. It delivers to unlimited destination numbers via it’s API, and most importantly, it gives you delivery reports via the API.

Take a look at it’s recently launched mobile app.
