A co-founder doesn’t necessarily have to be a friend, but your relationship can evolve into friendship. Most importantly, you need someone who shares your drive and passion for the idea. There are a few co-founder matching services like CoFoundersLab and FoundersDating, while those may work for you and others, I avoid them because I feel such a relationship should be birthed organically. My advice to you is to go to places where people build stuff, the #StartupFriday, tech hubs, startup events and meetups.

A Co founder is more like your spouse, hence you need someone who can work with you at your own or more than you.
