#WeCode – A rising community of developers in Abuja

I can remember in July 2015 when @the_middleman posted “Starting a developer community in Abuja”, Few days later, he started planning a meetup with @ibukunakins “Developers & Designers Meetup in Abuja”.

I reached out to them and connected them with Enspire Incubator. In August 2015, we held the first meetup. Fast forward till today, #WeCode is one and have held over 12 meetups.

Attending the #WeCode meet-up is a very rewarding and fulfilling experience. The knowledge that is gained and the friends that we make in such events can be with you for the rest of your life, even if you ever decide to retire from coding. The Abuja Developers Community is a rising and potential ecosystem.

I have plans to relocate to Abuja within a year or two. It would be nice to meet up with fellow developers before that time though :slight_smile:
