No Matrix?
No Matrix, No Star Wars
Can we discuss how this collection looks like some random projection of what techies are expected to find fascinating? Kind of like how The Big Bang Theory portrays scientists for entertainment purposes, but ends up with loads of people misinformed?
But Eagle Eye is dope tho!
I watch that movie over and over, to the point I wanted to build my own ARIIA.
Not saying it isn’t. I personally love dystopian movies done right. I just don’t agree with the authoritative manner in which the article was presented, especially the fact that it can easily be seen as a product of baseless opinion.
LOL… Isn’t ALL articles on TechCabal presented in this manner? I’ve gone beyond that now. I now just focus on the content.
Unfortunately, it’s the content I disagree with.
I saw Eagle Eye there.
No James Bond either. Or Antitrust. Or Iron man 1-3. Or Hackers. Or Jonny Mneumonic. I could go on. Point is, it was just a list. In a few months, another list will come out and it’ll look different. It’s the way of lists I’m afraid.
Two really techie movies are missing here. Person of Interest and Mr Robot. Both are season films. Those two are the best. The first one is about an A.I while the second is about a psycho hacker. I have watched The Social Network like uncountable times. Next is the Eagle Eye I will look for it tomorrow.
List isn’t legit without Wall-E.
Or Lion King.
What about mission Impossible 5,4,3,2,1, What about 007 spectre and Quantum of Solace…they should be on the list too
Good god Wall-E. Love that movie to death. I should see it again today.
Silicon valley season 1 and 2
For what it’s worth, I’ve never seen an actual person in tech call themselves a ‘techie’, so. I mean.
I should give you access to my email for one week
Series; Fringe, Big Bang Theory and Johnny Test. Yes I watch Cartoon Network. Try not to judge me too harshly
PS: Loving this forum.
G.I. JOE: Rise of Cobra
Tron Legacy
Interstellar
The Terminator series
Predator, AVP <3
007 movies starring Pierce Brosnan
The list never ends
And there is no Ex Machina.
