Startup name: awoofbox
Url: Clients.aiotaq.com/awoofbox
Pitch: Awoofbox is revolutionising how households and restaurants buy foodstuff, by allowing groups of people to buy fresh and processed foodstuff direct from farmers and food processors at much cheaper prices.
Problem: food prices are higher than they should be because several middle men operate between farmers and consumers. Foodstuff is delivered stale, and in unsafe condition, and much produce is lost in storage.
Solution: through our group-buy innovation, we enable consumers to organise groups with purchasing power to share bulk farm produce and get them at cheap prices from source. We then deliver each group’s order to one location
Traction: 50 corporate and 100 residential customers in our client base.
