DevCenter launched last year and ran for a while, we got a ton of insightful feedback from the community and went ahead to implement many of them. We almost got stuck in limbo while doing this but we got out and I can say I’m pleased with how far we have gone.
We’ve redesigned and we’re here to support the community by curating not just projects and jobs but bringing all african developers to one searchable entity.
If you’re hearing about DevCenter for the first time, we’ll be glad to have you on board with the other 300+ users already on. Join the collective and don’t forget to leave your feedback. We’re constantly improving.

Looks good, but logs me out fairly quickly. I signed up/in less than 2 hours ago and was logged out by the time I came back. Also, if I try to add a comment from a page, and get redirected to login, it takes me home instead of the page I was on. Just a note.

Tried to sign-up using my GitHub account and DevCenter was requesting access to my private repositories. Why is that? I won’t give access to my private repositories.

I think you should start with the public repositories first then request more access if needed.

I think replies should be oldest first and not the other way round, it helps the user make more sense of the convo.

DevCenter i noticed you guys have a Laravel backend. If you would need assistance with implementing the “redirected” issue raised by onyeka,i would be happy to share.

Come to think of it. I thinks there already an option to do it already with laravel. So all is well. Nice Interface by the way.

Appears more streamlined and focused, good. Quick Question, are all the projects created by the names above them?

@Tonianni thanks. We learnt from the convos i had with you early on.
Not all the projects were created by the names above them hence the byline in the project description. Owners are given full credit.
