A short short time ago… in a galaxy not so far away (Lagos)… one young tech company overthrew the empire is striving to build awesome amazing things that will make a difference. And so we are currently seeking for a handful of bright graduate interns to join our team.
[Graduate Intern defn : noun - Some one that is generally between university and NYSC or sort-of in NYSC]
We are looking to hire FULLTIME interns for UI/UX/Graphic design, PHP/JS development, on-the-ground bizdev & then digital marketing.
Here are the general requirements:
- You’ve got to be smart and own some kind of smartphone
- You’ve got to love technology in general & have a laptop at your disposal
- You got to be super comfortable with the internet and social media.
- You’ve got to be creative, open minded, play well on team or go solo to get something done when neccessary.
(You probably have all this on lockdown on your CV already, so unto the specific stuff)
Here are the specific requirements;
UI/UX/Graphic design
- Strong use of graphic applications i.e. Fireworks, Photoshop or Corel
- Good knowledge of design concepts (material design etc)
- Able to dream up stellar graphical communications
- Basic HTML & motion graphics knowledge is an added advantage.
PHP/JS development
- Very good knowledge of the PHP /MySQL
- Good use of PHP frameworks (Cake, MVC)
- Comfortable with PHP CMS’s (Wordpress)
- Very good knowledge of Javascript (use of AngularJS, Cordova is an added advantage)
BizDev
- Good knowledge of project management
*Good knowledge developing/executing marketing campaigns - Strong oral & written communication skills
- Ability to design and deliver awesome presentations and business documents
- Good negotiation and sale closure skills
Digital Marketing
- Strong use of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
- Great at spotting viral trends early and leveraging on them
- Must be brilliant at copy writing and story telling
- Be familiar with PPC, SEO etc
- Be a working meme idea generator
