Wonderful, i don't need to give out my Account Number to get paid Again

Waoh … Sending Account Number to get Paid, is now Old Fashion ?

Start-Ups is not really about creating a very Cool Totally New Product but also solving problems we encounter day in day out. Necessity they say is the mother of invention. We need to end the Yanga of PayPal.

I was very delighted when I stumbled upon a payment solution that works with a URL and I don’t need to send my account details again to get paid. Click here to Register and Claim Your own unique name as everyone is busy registering and the system cannot reserve names, its first come first serve.

The registration experience was smooth and mine is https://payme-ng.com/Probitybooks you may wish to dash me money for Xmas.

Why PayMe?
Account details are so 2015
Forget the distasteful business of sending your account details. Simply send them your payme link

Your embarrassing middle name is safe
With your payme link, all people ever see is what you want them to see – your payme name

Sending money is a breeze
You don’t need to sign up to send cash so there’s no need to sign up to send money on payme.

This service is powered by https://moneymave.flutterwave.com and with the way flutterwave is integrating African Payment Who really needs PAYPAL ??? When we have PAYME !!! (FUBU: For Us By Us))

lmao wyd, mate?

Once someone starts a post with “Waoh”, I already know everything coming after is going to be a steaming pile of shit.

What do you call this, Ekaette Services. Why? What? When? Jingle ?

My post is a recommendation of a solution I stumbled upon on the homepage of http://moneywave.flutterwave.com which I fell in love with and felt someone won’t call pile of shit.

I expected you guys to comment about the logic of the solution instead of asking for my head.

I am not in anyway representing www.payme-ng.com nor www.flutterwave.com, when you see a good thing talk about it, Karma will reward you also.

I personally do not have any issues giving out my account details and I guess it’s same for a lot of folks out there.

What I see here is another layer of complication in the payment process by sending a payer to some link to ask for his/her card details that the payer is probably weary of using for online transaction or any other form of CNP transaction in the first place.

Go read this thread: Accepting payments from Ghana

there’s a little difference between those and yours

I believe this too.
It’s seems like the same thing. But now, instead of account numbers, I am giving out a url.

Most people would rather just give the account number. Except you’re banking on the fact that I don’t want my name public.

Then there is also the trust layer. Who do I complain to if something goes wrong. This is the same reason many people still prefer bank deposits to card payments even if card payments are a lot easier.
The internet seems like nobody. So there is nobody to hold if something goes wrong.

Anyways, I will watch and wait. If this goes well, I will learn what I can.

I assume the difference is negligble

Personally, I still prefer 737 for my day to day transaction, however for a merchant that wants to reconcile payment, their VAS might be a selling point.

When i first saw shorten URL services from www.bit.ly i was like is this really a solution but now everybody uses it, now i have shorten the url of this post to Wonderful, i don't need to give out my Account Number to get paid Again - #11 by StephenAfamO - Radar from TechCabal

As you said time will tell, but what if they integrate mobile money into their solution, dont know how but I believe it’s workable.

For account reconciliation, you can get most info you need from your bank account.

Url shorteners became useful because.

  1. twitter has a 140 character limit
  2. analytics

The need this service can fill right now is.

  1. For people receiving money from outside the country. People who have cards, but do not want to go through banks because of the complicated process.
  2. To receive donations.

There may be some other use cases out there, but I don’t think the value proposition they are selling will be the primary use of the service.
I would suggest they ask the people who use it, what they use it for. It will help them know what problem they are solving.

Lmao. I’ve sold over $10,000 of those phone cases, and I’m a pretty amazing artist so I don’t know what you hope to achieve by comparing my post to yours, but carry on.

To be frank with you the the phones cases are cool, might order one soon, however you guys claim my post was an advert, so i did a lil research on you to compare your previous post, was your casing post not an advert? however, i do not have any affiliates with both payme and moneywave …

Bro, here’s why they thought so:

  1. Your post had the general tone of people who come to Radar and advertise their product as though they just stumbled on it. Trust me, we’ve seen quite a lot of those and it’s made us critical.
  2. You copied and pasted text from the website. It’s not a crime, it just felt out of place.

Overall, I think it was your enthusiasm and poor expression that made the whole thing sound suspicious. But no one is picking on you. Understand their point, forget it, and let’s move on.
