This is worldwide Q1 2017 PC shipment data. Even squinting hard, I can’t see the “Lots and Lots and Lots” that are rejecting Windows.
As for rejecting Microsoft generally, if they have most of the top open source projects of any company (which includes Apple), and they still control a significant chunk of enterprise sales, people are not rejecting hard enough.
If losing grip still gives one over 90% of the PC market, I’ll like to learn how to grip like them.
You shouldn’t use anecdotal evidence provided by your uncle to make a worldwide generalization.

Lol who cares about Jeff Bezos! Microsoft hasn’t done much in recent time. I personally haven’t been impressed with their activities in the last 12 months. Maybe they need a killer product to remain relevant to me.
