Abeg, before anybody crucifies me about the design of the site, we used tumblr coz it’s easy, free and has unlimited bandwidth [/quote]
However, i couldn’t be engaged. I ‘droned’ through the clicking and selecting.
If you must go with the ‘Famous Nigerian’ as reward I wager it would have been more interesting turning it into a short history lesson of sorts.
There are plenty of famous Nigerians pre and post colonial era, that would pique the historians in us all.
The history behind the making or fame of a Chimamanda, or Dangote et al; do not hold candle to the likes of pre-colonial Leaderships, creativity or artistry of the Igala, Nri or Fulani. Post colonially there are also ‘tens of dozens’ of names, that ruled beside the famous and often notable ones, less known but widely revered in the inner circles when real historians discuss.
Take for instance the unveiling of a Frederick Douglas, during the events and rituals of the Black History Months. Martin Luther cán not tie Frederick’s shoelaces. But one is often more popularized. Some theorists would even argue MLK is half fraud, and a white sympathizer.
Imagine my shock, sans suprise, when Chimamanda popped up as my alter ego. WTH man.
I bet a $100 that no matter what i select or click in this quiz of yours, i wont find an Oshodi, a Peterside or an Mbanefo.
Tbh, in hindsight i should have included the picture below in my original post so people know what options are available to them. But i didn’t want the post to feel like promo.
Hope it makes sense now.
Currently on the steep part of the learning curve. So I can sympathize with your frustration. However, it was just meant as a bit of fun for independence day. Nothing more to it than that.
Nice interface @ADT but haba 8 times! OBJ! OBJ! its like the system knows me. My friend played on my device and got Dangote and Adenuga but i got OBJ repeatedly despite changing my answers. I can’t complain!
