I created this free mobile app to help car owners and drivers send text message to the driver of another car blocking his car without revealing his phone number. To send the text message, what you do is enter the plate number of the car blocking your car and do a search. If that car is registered with the app, the app will tell you to press SEND and the driver of the car will get a text message instantly to come and repark his car.
This app is entirely free and you will not pay anything to download it, register your car or send a repark sms. This app is called Repark Mobile App and you can download it from our website at http://www.repark.com.ng or from Google Play Store. Please like our Facebook page https://facebook.com/reparkmobileapp
@EzekielJ . I see the prospects bro, sell it to LASTMA or FRSC and manage it because I think they have a DB of cars against registered phone numbers. Feel free to Contact me I am willing to share ideas with you.
@EzekielJ, you can partner with security men contracting companies(Halogen and the rest) for them to share the App with their staff(security men), all they have to do is whenever someone comes to park cars wherever they are posted, they collect the person’s phone number and register it in the App, to enable them text or do a robocall free of charge to the Owner whenever there is need to repark (of course that will be with the assumption that the car owner is unavailable physically). or if you have strong links you can partner with FRSC to share their DB and sell it to the security men contracting company so they can also make money, whichever is easier for you.
@DavidEjikeme great suggestions coming from you. I am working on getting the security guards company accepting the app and I have it in mind to talk with FRSC. One thing I am not sure yet is how to approach FRSC. Thanks
Well do a detailed proposal, have a registered company and head to their controlling headquarters, boldly step into any office because you have something to offer, make sure you have a Demo handy. Sell your idea to the Oga’s secretary/PA, then he or she can announce you.
If you are sacred of doing this then use my Idea one in my previous post; let the security men build the DB for you. Right? its a Win-Win.
But is a whole app necessary for this? Security could just take the person’s number and manually call as they’ve been doing… honestly this is not really a pain point.
With a database of license plates associated with phone numbers, its starting to sound like a social network for car owners.
You start off telling people they’re blocking you. One time you’ll use it to tell someone driving past you that their back tire is flat. You’ll realize you can send free sms for more than just parking and next thing you’re using it to send messages to babes in traffic.
It’s a murky privacy swamp you’re gonna have to wade through, but this database exists. The largest dataset would be owned by Courtville Group’s autoreg.
