To be honest with you social networking app n chat apps are no more what they used to be, there are too many of them, all still doing the same thing.

I can’t effectively argue your founder’s case. It must have root in something fundamental to you, yes?

But discussing the appeal of your product, i’d like to ask if you’ve considered making this into a Facebook app?

Our facebook timelines are active with “Guinea posts” for your experimental product, you just have to get users onboard your facebook app and Network effect for FB apps is fairly easy.

As a standalone, i must argue that registering my reaction (LIKES?) on a Picture as against the content of the Post that came with it, is not enough for ME to download an app.

In between, what happens when the post is either a Picture or a Post, and not both? I still get to play, yes?

Thanks for your blunt feedback, yes i considered making it into a facebook app but it’s more than just that which is why we decided to make it a standalone app.

Apart from the Likes, users will be able to share their post on other social platforms easily.
Users can upload either pictures or quote but in this case only 1 like will appeal.

Often times, most people just tweet without a topic. We are introducing topic. I wish you could test the app straight away but we are just sorting out database and hosting.

It wouldn’t hurt at all being part of an already growing number of users, part of an active community.

Which begs a question; what is the proposition per install/usage of the app?

For instance; i. WhatsApp sells me a alternative/cheap way of reaching everybody locally or internationally I have on my contact list.

ii. Facebook sells me updates on the go into the lives of friends and family and the Global world. (I now, question why they haven’t started focusing on purely local - niche - feeds served on our timelines; this will cement their home feed performance)

Imagine if each time i opened my facebook home feed, there was a smart bundle on all locally trending news. With which i can quickly glean what’s happening locally.

I can tell if there’s any significant happenings in Lagos, or the country by scrolling through my twitter home feed. And I follow less than 250 people and less than 30% of that are the active ones. Twitter is the real Update Pulse.

Sorry Bro, I digress.

So what is your proposition when i install the app and each time I decide to fire it up?

Assigning topicals with my posts, while properly delegating whether the post or picture should have my reaction.

In My Humble opinion that sounds really great, but as an addon, not a standalone.

A picture and a quote make up a Facebook post or tweet as the case may be. I can’t understand the need to separate them, I see them as one.
