We believe that practice leads to perfection; this prompted us to turn practice into gaming just to make practice self driven experience for students.
We designed a computer based test (CBT) Game Platform that allow students to play games with their books. This alpha release is designed for students in secondary schools and those seeking admission into higher institutions.
The Quiz is built around a game story and academic results table runs like English premiership table. Test this product at www.magbodo.com and help us do the following
- Criticize it
- Give suggestions on how to make it better
- And how to make it fly(gain more traction) Thank you!
Wish it had a demo or trial mode, to give a feeler… then one can be convinced to sign up…
Hmm! Trial version Ok, we will work on that. For now we don’t authenticate email that sign up with us, feel free to use any email address.
cracks knuckles, does jumping jacks, stretches and press-ups
Sigh *
Where do I start?
TL;DR :
-
Pixelated Images. No one likes pixelated mages. Related: Take the time out to create a “Sign Up” button (as a token of appreciation maybe ) instead of making the entire image clickable.
-
Logo appears twice for no reason. Why does the logo appear twice? Is it a joke I’m not getting?

Your “What people say” section has nothing that was said by anybody. At all. Either take it out or take it out. Also M-News and M-chat might be wrongly placed, maybe add an “Already a member? You should check out…{insert M-News and M-Chat here}” or something similar.

What does “Magbodo 1.3” mean? Are you planning to release a Magbodo 2.0 later? and how will that affect me if i signup now. Does this mean I’m buying a Magbodo software that can change or be outdated later? I thought I was only using an online service!.
All in all, kudos to the Design team (if the site graphics were in-house that is) as the graphics were realllly cool (that hex stuff you guys got going on…fresh)
Just my two cents.

All of that last reply was just stuff i got from the landing page.
Digging deeper, I see you guys need more graphics on other pages cos most of the other pages are basically just formatted text
I think there’s some redundancy too and its everywhere. Most of the info in magbodo.com/learn (which IMO should contain the starting point for the learning stuff youre offering eg ALOC) can be moved into the FAQ or arranged in an “About Us” page.
Also all of the content on the “Getting started” page can literally fit into 5 lines…5 lines…you dedicated an entire page to content that can fit 5 lines… claps for you… You sir are the real MVP.
@efemoney Thank you for taking your time to check our site and giving these insightful analysis. We will make the necessary corrections.

Take care with your URLs and create a custom error page, its too easy to play havoc with it as it is.
Ok! I will tidy that up too.
Viewed it on firefox(only) and the banners have list bullets on them. Try address that, also work on the optimization too, it takes too long to load, considering some of your users may not have much bandwidth to spare, and of course may not all be on 3G. Nice work by the way.
@trulyTobi Thanks for that observation.
The internet must have been really bad for that to happen. We deliberately use lighter and fewer graphics because we want it to load quickly and consume less data. And our front end CSS management targets mobile first.
We want students anywhere with any phone with minimum internet connection to have easy access to our free web service. Only the home page tends to have much graphics.
We will look into your observation.
