I can only guess for UXShape since the other one is still under development.
I’ll say it took 2weeks and it cost about $600.
So…? Invoice please.

Hmmmmmm
This money here are for 3 different types of projects excluding the other one still under development as that is with another developer total is $250 with a balance of like $100 so $350 to get all 3 projects completed which is way less than $600 you might want to quote me for one project.
If you convert that $600 which is about £460 give or take to Naira that is like N207,000 at the rate of N450 to £1
So do you think I would pay Naija developer N207,000 for a wordpress website when I have given them fully design prototype of exactly how I want the project to be done? definitely not.
I hope you are not disappointed but pricing is very key for Naija developers because business want to get the best value for less money if possible.
Provided I pay them well and they are satisfied then no problems, but most Naija developers want to score big on one project forgotten that you must have repeat customer
And the uxshape.com project took 4 days to complete
Dude I just wanted to hear u out. I don’t charge that amount and I know u won’t believe.
To be fair u didn’t gimme the specs like u gave the Indian guy.
Some time ago on Radar a job was posted for a PDF upload and download site and I wiped this up in 2hrs for free:
Here’s my question: If I offer to do the same job at the same price and in the same period will you patronize me?
Lol
Why not if price is good without compromising on quality.
Besides, I am not a regular guy that just give projects out I know exactly what I want to develop and when I when give a project scope out, I don’t usually like developer to cloud my judgment with things like oh this is big project and its like amazon or facebook so it will cost me million of Naira or hundreds of thousands of pounds. because I hear that everyday
I have invested heavily in projects. This sample I just showed is just my hobbies
So if you are really good in web and mobile development why not.
Send me sample of your work
Guy. I like you. No homo.
You are just the kind of people we need in this country; you think things up and u implement them. Sharply.
I think instead of developing for you (although I’d love to) I think I should bounce ideas off you instead.
Like ur spirit. Keep it up but we have some good naija guys sha. Don’t hate us all.
I hope with these few points of mine I have been able to convince you that naija developers are as good and sometimes better that their Indian counterparts
Lol
Lol I know hate anybody Infact I am looking to set up a team in Nigeria very soon
I know Naija guys are good developers. Besides, I be Naija guy too
For me all developers from all locations are good if they know what they are doing, It’s just that when it comes to making that business decision of where and who to outsourced to alot of factors need to be considered and I think some factors just make Indians and Eastern Europeans go further that their Nigerian and Africans counterparts
No light in my area since Monday
You can see it’s been raining heavily since morning so Internet has been poor
I have a church program this weekend
I don’t usually work on weekends. Do you honestly expect me to work during weekends?
How much did you pay me that I have to buy plugins
My Wife put to birth so I was at the hospital and you know how these things go.
I didn’t see you missed call
I ran out of data just when I was about to upload.
Dude you have some funny excuses there.
But these excuses happen mostly when you hire amateurs or developer friends.
Those guys don’t even give u a definite timeline or milestones. They don’t have an hourly rate they use to calculate the project cost. Some don’t even know what contingency means.
Look for guys with good pedigree and form strategic partnerships with them. Sign a proper contract and have piece of mind.
@Uduak Exactly why most Indian get work more than the naija one. Although some is beyond your control but some you can control.
I have this developer who work for me on a project for 3 months at $11 an hour Monday to Friday 8 hours a day. But this lady is so dedicated and even still do runs in the local market for his mother in India.
Those excuse will not help you much in getting jobs you have go the extra mile as a freelancer because some months might be really quiet
So how about the initial 30% deposit that mostly gets written off.
What 30%? Is that an industry standard or what?
