Is it okay to allow for the uploader of the photo to determine what should be outputted when someone else touched a predefined area on their photo? Just curious…

or just use permissions… so when someone blocks and i touch, the person is informed that i want to know more abt the touched object, then the person can either allow or deny…
You could even make this a paid feature for celebrities that does not want to advertise other products.

Could you make it possible that users could zoom into an image to a particular depth in order to touch items? For example, I’ve been trying to touch the pair of glasses on the Dark Olive Jacket image, I’m interested in the glasses not the jacket, but it still keeps on returning the jacket.
Then the ‘Usage Instructions’ that keep popping up each time I hit back, it’s stressing having to always click on ‘OK, I got it’.
That said, kudos to you guys.

I havent downloaded the app yet, hope to do so when i get home this evening.
From what i read, its pretty much legit.
I have worked on image detection in the past and i am pretty impressed how you did this without API.(If you feel incline, you could tell us how you do it…if you feel incline)
I would like to suggest an application for your project…
I have a best friend that is blind, he enjoys using facebook and whatsapp and he even enjoys taking pictures(honestly). Sometimes he post pictures on his facebook and whatsapp.
Would your application enable him to identify who and what is on a particular picture?
For example, he choses a picture, he touches a part of the screen, it tells him “Thats you”. It touches somewhere else it tells him what its there…
In summary can you put people like my friend in mind as you do your iteration? Its would really make the product useful.

Wow! Wow!! We will totally consider doing something for your friends. Use case like this inspires us even more, and I’m very sure it’s something we can add on top the current experience; maybe using the “Squeeze or Shake” gesture to activate this “Touch-to-Speech” feature. Amazing idea. Thank you.

Yo! We’ve just updated the app and the annoying pop-up is fixed. We also made most of the broken links to work. For example, the search now queries Amazon (for a start).
P.S: Just in case anyone from Jumia or Konga is reading this, we’d like to push traffic to your platforms (FREE) if you’d let us localize your product for our small but growing Nigerian users. We’ll show products from your inventory that is related to what our user touched. And seriously, you will be amazed at what Nigerians are touching in pictures (they could be converted to sales). Holla if it’s something Konga/Jumia would be interested in.
