"How To Build Your Own Pokemon Go In Pure HTML, JavaScript & CSS" by Jonathan Block

So we all know Pokemon Go and I was thinking what if there was an African Clone for it? Like we could use Africa Gods/Goddesses instead of pokemons themselves. What do you think? I haven’t tried and probably won’t but for those who will, check this out:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3 to be coming soon.

Here is how Wikitude wants you to build your own Pokemon Go

Here are Github Repositories to help you out.

Here is someone’s experience of playing Pokemon Go In Nigeria (even though it wasn’t available at that time)

Here is a reddit forum for those who played it in Kenya

Here is how to play it in South Africa

Here is how it is doing in Egypt

And for other stories in Africa there is always this. Happy Tuesday to all, Life bless and one love. Be safe and take care.

One day, my brother, I WILL GIVE YOU A DOWNVOTE… How can you be overwhelming someone with links like this?
I don’t care whether Discourse supports downvoting or not; I WILL DO IT.
One day…

The magic of Pokemon Go is the Pokemon brand, not the technology (not that the technology isn’t impressive in itself). Just cloning it with “African goddesses” is not the way to go.

I didn’t even look at the name (@davidsmith8900) to know he was the one that started this thread. Honestly.

You are the only one with the skills to dump links like this. And ur ideas are…let me just say “somehow”. But it’s all good sha.

I have played Pokemon Go but stopped cause I got busy again and the hype just died for me. And it would be cool to have one for Africa and we can catch grasshoppers and “ladybirds”.

@Diakon, @Freshboi_Ekundayo, @O_niran, thank you for the honest comic relief. May life bless you all.
@muyiscoi, thank you for the clarification. You are right, the magic is in the brand itself. I never once thought of that and may life bless you.
@Chris, lwkmd. You are funny with your statements but I appreciate the honesty. Thank you for the creativity. I never once thought of using insects or nature creations instead of pokemons. When I get the chance, it will be something I look into. May life bless you as well.

Happy Wednesday to all and thanks for replying to my thread/topic.

You are welcome, we sha like your topics but the link thingy is my issue, just drop a summary, in like 3 or 4 sentence we can debate about .
