APPARENTLY, the cash feature is not live in Lagos yet (very soon), and I only have the cash option because I have visited a city with the option in the past (Nairobi). Both my drivers were aware of the feature though, and didnāt weird out too much.
I know Iām reviving this topic but I prefer that instead of creating a duplicate topic.
This is one of the many reasons I was and am not in favor of the cash uber option. It just causes unnecessary problems that the app was supposed to solve in the first place. Funny enough, threat of violence to driver and passenger was originally very low on the list of potential issues with regards to the cash option but now seems to be one of the biggest ones.
