An African idea sharing app

Hey everyone, do you think an app whose core feature will be to promote idea sharing would work in Africa

What would be the motivation? Why should I share on this app instead of my usual Twitter/Medium/LinkedIn or whatever other channel I already use (and have a network on)?

same thought as @yoowai , there are already apps doing that and doing it very well, so what unique feature are you bringing to the table that users would want?

hmmm, depends on the category/group of people you’re targeting as your core users. If its “ALL” , Dont try this at home , maybe if i found one for just “born again Christians” or “electronic engineers” or “graphic designers” or “dancers” i might be motivated to join as am 70% confident i’d be getting contents i came for.

Yea i think I see your points but how about if you throw in tools that have to do with education like games designed to help users learn about a variety of subjects ranging from history to etiquette, and also add direct access in terms of chatting to mentors? Hypothetically…oh yea and thank for your reply really appreciate it

My friend you are about to invent the Internet all over again, but this time as an app. :raised_hands:

Probably still too broad an idea…

Like everyone else, I don’t think you should do it.

@or4dx007 Please go on and exercise your idea. Be Positive. Radarians will just kill your morale any how.
I recommend you nudge Dangote to be a Mentor as that’ll pull traffic.

Do me a favor! Don’t forget to come back and tell us how bad an idea this is. At least you’ll be sharing a failed idea with not just Africans, but the world. #NoHardFeelings
