@MrBoy, spot-on thank you for taking the time to point out a possible scenario.
You are kidding, right? You store strings like these in your head?

That assumption is totally wrong in the scenario I referenced. But go ahead, blame everything on the customer and an unfounded âlove for cracked programsâ. The looking glass is strong in this one.
Not Much,But yes,if its important, Push your brain to store abstract stuffs using patterns (NoSherlockHolmes)
Besides you must not use PassGenerators when you can generate yours , Say [ Reverse of Your birthday + Name_Of_First_Gf + Any Word in your native language + 3randomNumbers]
There are lots of creative/complex passwords you can come up with yourself
I do not even advice password managers ,These things could be compromised much easily than your brain.
Its not Paranoia,Its Security.
How would you know? Plus i didnât say it was
You already poured out much blame on the host, Both parties should be blamed,If the host automatically scanned and eliminated phishpages and malware programs, you wouldnât know what they did for you and it would be termed âservices you paid forâ ,and if Customer(if a developer) wrote a directory watcher to watch changes on some specific directories where change shouldnât normally occur,or atleast checked where site traffic is coming from and on what file,The host wouldnât know what humiliation you saved their brand from,Help yourselves ,Blame less
How would I know? Because I do. Unlike you, I am not making excuses for some story I read online, and being Nigerian isnât synonymous with having cracked software installed on your computer as you would think.
This thread is about the nonchalant customer service, with a very specific situation. I admitted where I blame the customer in the opening post so I am not sure what you are on about.
You have done a nice work analysing and this is good, but a no-no to password manager⌠I strongly disagree with that, but first of all, what type of Password manager do you use?
I use LastPass (aff link: who cares anyways you get a one-month premium trial) as my trusted password manager. Whenever brands like Hootsuite and WPBeginner recommend products I tend to try them out cos I know for these guys, security is a priority. Digressed a little there anyways. Happy securing.

Yea, bro I think @MrBoy is a saint who likes to pay for everything, even when there is a free version. (sounds like that to me, though)
Its an advice for those who are care-free about viruses while getting the crackies ,nice try
