@PapaOlabode, I really like this update. I love how Radar is moving forward and becoming indomitable.

I think that @xolubi should be the Community Manager and if he is too busy to do it because of his company/hobbies, he should mentor/manage the person who is doing it for at least 1 hour a day or 5 hours a week as service to the community or community service. Like on Radar, I’m yet too see anyone who is intellectually gifted, business oriented, flexible and shrewd as him. I mean look at his cover letter, this dude is the best on here. He is the best person for the job. I believe that he can add value to our community with his intellect and intuition.

I think that we should have an Idea/Suggestion Box for Radar. Like something quick and efficient. Or maybe someone can create a thread and from there people will be able to post ideas they have or anonymously call out challenges/problems they see in the community so they won’t have to be afraid of backlash.

From my research one thing that Alexa, SimilarWeb & Wolfram Alpha by an estimate all tell me is that on an average 100,000 - 170,000 people visit Radar’s TechCabal (or just TechCabal) every month. (There was a time when we had half a million visitors, but I will leave that to another post.) However, we have a maximum of 2,100 - 2,500 topics and a maximum of 16,200 views for a topic. In other words, the numbers are not adding up. Where is everybody else at? What are they doing? I’ve been studying the view count. On a weekly average the most views a topic gets doesn’t reach 1,000.

Recently we’ve seen an increase of people asking others for simple based opinions. Example 1, 2 & 3. With this on the rise, I think if we could add like a poll/survey like function where it is easy to create a poll/survey just like how we create a topic it would make people lives easier.

The more you take care of your body, the more your body will take care of you. I believe if our generous ogas at the top (@lordbanks & @seyitaylor), the dynamic duo, did more generous things like they’ve always done like give us awoof or freebies maybe in terms of free data or free educational tutorials on how to program or make something or just free live discussions like the one they had in regards to Kinnevik in general, the members of the community will be more glad to uplift the community up to higher/new heights.

@xolubi is the god but when it comes to bots (especially chat/messenger bots) @ire is the god & goddess of that. Like when you check out her work and the tutorials she has on her website, like my God, she is good. She makes everything easy as pie. So now knowing that chat is the new interface, she should make a TechCabal chatbot for Facebook Messenger and other messenger platforms for those who love to chat/chill all day. It will save them the time of having to open the browser in order to access new information on the website. People will also have the ability to have a preview of what Radar has to offer without having to do extra work.

Last but not least, Monetization. We should all sign an agreement that TechCabal is allowed to use our data and sell it in order to make money. When TechCabal gets the money, we will split it and share it equally. Also if possible TechCabal can sign partnership with companies to promote ads on Radar and those who come on here will have an option to see the ads and get paid or opt out of the ads but don’t get paid. Not to forget CEOs like CEO @Jason_Igwe_Njoku & @mark can charge users to ask them questions. From there Radar gets a percentage, and gives it back to the community.
